Reno's Gay Bar

Our building has been a part of Reno's history since the 1960s. It started as a dude ranch and later became the El Ranch Motel. In 1991, it transformed into Carl's - The Saloon, Your Friendly Gay-borhood Bar. We welcome everyone. Even if you are straight, you are welcome here.

We are a non-smoking establishment, but you can enjoy your smoke on our patio. We take pride in being one of Reno's longest-running gay bars, and we look forward to serving the community for many years to come.
